Annis Cassell

Annis P. Cassell, age 68 of Marion, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon April 11, 2009 at her residence. She was born April 4, 1941 in Inez, Kentucky the daughter of the late Wallace and Leeaner (Robinson) Preston. On June 16, 1962 she married Ralph V. Cassell. He preceded her in death May 19, 2003. Annis was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed cooking and working about the home. Annis and Ralph lived in the Johnsville area until they moved to Marion to be closer to their children. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mitch and Renee Cassell and her daughter Angela Cassell, all of Marion. One brother; Dennis Preston of Inez, KY and her sisters Tina mae Kirck of Inez, KY and Thelma Paris of Chester, SC. She is also survived by her grandson Colton Cassell of Marion and Thirty Foster Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 15th 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Gary DeSanto officiating. Interment will follow in Bellville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 - 8:00 .
