Audrey Bond

Audrey Rosalie "Rose" Bond age 72 of Galion passed away on September 18th 2015 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Audrey was born in Galion, Ohio on March 4, 1943 to the late LeRoy and Opal (Carpenter) Payne. She married Roger Eugene Bond September 4, 1971 and were married for 44 years. Rose enjoyed collecting cookie jars, working with her roses and her critters. She was an active volunteer with the Ohio Search and Rescue Team and the Ohio Military Army Reserves 41st Military Police. Rose is survived by her children, Cathy Wipert Yetter of Perrysburg, Nichole Bond (Christopher Brickey) of Mt. Gilead, Roger Bond Jr. (Rosalie) of North Carolina, James Bond of Norwalk, her brother LeRoy Payne Jr. (Jewel), grandchildren, Victoria, Jeffrey, and Nicholas Saunders, Michael, Trey, Caroline, Nikki and Gabriel Bond, great grandchildren, Rylan, Deklan and Parker, special cousin Linda Pollitt of KY, numerous nieces and nephews and her furkids. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles Payne & Thomas Payne Sr. Arrangements were handled by Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home of Caledonia. Graveside services will be held Wednesday September 23rd, 2015 at 11AM in Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Loyd Caudill officiating. Friends may call at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home in Galion on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8. .
