Bobbie Fiant

Bobbie Jo Fiant, age 66, of Caledonia passed away September 3, 2020 at her residence. Bobbie Jo was born in Port Hueneme, California on July 20, 1954 as the daughter of the late David and Patricia (Roseberry) Shonk. Bobbie Jo is preceded in death by her husband Richard Fiant who passed away in 1976. Bobbie Jo was a member of the American Legion Post 401 Women's Auxiliary for many years. She retired from Whirlpool where she was an assembler on Line 3. Bobbie Jo enjoyed camping in her younger years and was avid bird watcher. She loved her birds. She had her own "bird sanctuary" outside her bedroom window that her daughter maintained diligently per Bobbie Jo. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed playing strategy games on her IPAD. Bobbie Jo will be missed by her children, Nikki (Ken) Blevins, grandchildren David (Nicole) Blevins and Nathan (Kristen Nebel) Blevins and great grandchildren, Covelyn and Roetta Blevins. Bobbie Jo is preceded in death by her brother Steven. Graveside service for Bobbie Jo will be held September 18th at 3:00 in Caledonia Cemetery with Pastor James Lance officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Bobbie Jo's memory may be made to the Marion County Humane Society or Kindred Hospice.
