Bryan Gates

Bryan Ray Gates of Caledonia, passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 14th, 2017 at his home. Bryan was a proud and loving father of three children, Owen Tyler Ray Gates, age 9, Lillian Marie Gates age 7, and Leigha Rae Gates age 6. Bryan Made sure he was with his kids every chance he got, taking them on little adventures all the time, whether that meant walking trails or "cruisin and jammin" in the truck. Each one of them had a special place in his heart. Owen being his best friend forever, Lilly being his Gilligan and Leigha being his baby. They will keep his memory alive. Bryan is survived by his mom, Ronda Rae Jenkins (Darrell McCoy). Two brothers, Brandon Allen Gates and Brice Eugene Gates. A sister Brittany Marie Gates (Jason Bollinger) all of Caledonia. His loving Amanda "Christine" Gibson and her children. Maternal grandfather Kenyon Jenkins and Paternal grandmother Ruth Gates. Nieces Jayden Gates, Ashton Bollinger Tinsley Bollinger and Paige Simmers. Nephew Mason Gates. Aunts and Uncles, Randy Gates (Christine), Roger and Carol Kitts, Patty and Charlie Chapman, Deb and Gary Kensler. Uncle Tim Wilkins, Aunts, Cheryl Wilkins and Carol Sekinger, numerous cousins and friends. Bryan is also survived by his dad Mark Allen Gates. Bryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Catherine Jenkins and paternal grandfather Oscar E. Gates.
Our family wants everyone to remember Bryan's smile and his personality that stole the hearts of so many, that he never met a stranger and made friends with everyone. Our family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, love, support and donations.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home. Funeral Services for Bryan will be held at 1:00 Friday May 19th at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Rev. Terry Cudd officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 until time of service.
