Cheryl Gates

Lynn Gates, age 55 of Caledonia passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening September 29th at Marion General Hospital. She was born in Franklin County on January 29th, 1958 as the daughter of the late Roy A. Kepley Sr. and Shirley Ann Caldwell. Lynn was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Caledonia and will be remembered as one of the promoters and organizers of the Stayner - Vaughn Poker Run. She was employed with Pet-Co in Marion for the past five years and had been employed for ten years at Community Med Center Hospital. Lynn loved her puppies and doing crossword puzzles. She also enjoy crocheting and Cross Stitch. But most of all she loved her family. Lynn had spent 41 wonderful years with her husband Randy. She also leaves behind her son Joshua Gates of Caledonia and her daughter Heidi Clark of Iberia. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren; Tyler Clark, Taylor Clark, Tucker Clark and Gaige Gates. She will also be missed by her brothers Mike Kepley of Marion and Floyd Kepley of Long Grove ,OK. and her sisters Michelle Irey & Jackie Blevins of Caledonia, Kathie Gaton of Delaware and Marty Pettigrew of Akron. She will also be remembered fondly by her step-father Marvin Caldwell. Funeral Services for Lynn will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday October 4th, 2013 at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Terry Holobaugh officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 - 4 and 6 - 9. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Stayner - Vaughn Poker Run.
