Clara Lucille Bryant

Clara Lucille Bryant, age 86 of Marblehead, Ohio, formerly of Caledonia, passed away December 31st, 2022 at Marion General Hospital. Clara was born in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, September 9th, 1936 as the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary (Bush) Alkire. Clara married Thomas Bryant May 5, 1956 in Caledonia, Ohio and he survives her at home. Clara was a 1953 graduate of  Mt. Gilead High School. She enjoyed her home at Marblehead where they had resided for the last 25 years. Clara was a cook for many years at the old Copper Kettle Restaurant. Clara loved sewing and working outdoors in her flower garden. She was an excellent cook and baker. Clara’s father-in-law loved her cherry pies. But most of all, Clara loved her family. Clara will be greatly missed by her children, Jeff (Connie) Bryant and Tracy (Ron) Wolfe, grandchildren, Adam, Aaron and Michelle and great grandchildren Nathan, Kelsey, Brayden, Jeffery, Jordan, and sister Opal Carsner. Friends may call from 12:00-1:00 on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 at the Timson & Melroy Funeral Home. Service will begin at 1:00 with Pastor Amy Barr officiating. Interment will be in Caledonia Cemetery.
