Curtis E. Anderson, age 80, of Caledonia passed away Monday morning, August 27h at Marion General Hospital. He was born in Clearbrook, MN on September, 4th, 1931 as the son of the late Herbert V. and Eva (Muril) Anderson . On December 9th, 1961 he married Dorothy Key and she survives him. Curtis is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces and worked for many years as a Heating & Air Conditioning Technician in the Marion area. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed being involved in church activities and functions. He is a former member of American Legion Post #401 in Caledonia and Oliver Lodge # 447 F & AM. He loved being involved in Flea Markets and loved Yard Sales. At home he took great pride in his vegetable garden. Besides his wife Curtis is survived by his two sons Mike (Teri) Key of Caledonia and Gene (Cindy) Key of Marion. He leaves behind his granddaughter Crystal (Adam) Rogers of Marion and three great grandchildren. Curtis is also survived by his brothers, Allen Anderson of Texas, Wayne Anderson of Loraine, OH and his sisters Yvonne Cantanzaro of Rhode Island and Lucille Linbloom of Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his brother Herbert. A celebration of the life of Curtis Anderson will be held on Thursday August 30th in Emanuel Lutheran Church at 4:00 with Kevin Kehn Associate in Ministry officiating. The Timson Allen & Melroy in Caledonia is in charge of arrangements.
