D.J. Paul McClenathan, age 26 of Edison, died May 7th, 2018 as the result of a tractor-vehicle collision on Roberts Rd. He was born February 29th 1992 in Marion as the son of Jennifer McClenathan who survives him. D.J. attended Tri-Rivers and graduated from River Valley High School. D.J. earned his Associates Degree in Auto Technologies from The University of Northern Ohio in 2012. D.J. was employed at Leroy's Service Center in Delaware as an auto mechanic. In his spare time he enjoyed trading and buying cars and loved anything that had an engine. He was an avid bowler at Cooper's Alley at Marion Centre and enjoyed spending time with his children and family. Besides his mother D.J. is survived by his fiance Delena Mullenniex of Edison, children, Jaydyn, Bentley and Braigen, sister, Maxine of Edison, grandfather, Roger "Pop" McClenathan of Edison, uncle Ryan and aunt Cindy McClenathan of Caledonia, aunt Sharon Herrod of Mt. Gilead, cousins Hanna and Bailey McClenathan of Caledonia and Jerry Herrod of Mt. Gilead. D.J. was preceded in death by his grandmother, Melody McClenathan. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 14th at 11:00 at the Timson & Melroy Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Burkhardt officiating. Interment will follow in Claridon Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home in Caledonia where the family will greet them from 2:00 until 6:00 on Sunday, May 13th. Memorial contributions may be made to the Timson & Melroy Funeral Home.
