Donald Wayne “Squeak” Myers, age 90, of Edison, Ohio passed away December 16, 2022 at Woodside Village Care Center. Don was born October 30th, 1932 in Marion, Ohio, as the son of the late Orrie and Erma (Tittlebaugh) Myers. Don married Judith Roush December 24th, 2012 and they celebrated ten years together. Don was a 1950 Graduate of Claridon High School, where he was in a graduating class of just five people. Don was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 162.
For the majority of his life, Don was a farmer. He worked the land and had cattle at times. He was a member of many farm organizations and bureaus. Don enjoyed watching T.V. and spending time with his family. Growing up in Morrow County and spending his entire life there, he knew the backroads very well. He loved eating Wendys’ frostys and driving all over the countryside , rain or shine. Don was a generous man, who loved his friends and family.
Don is survived by his children, Randy (Donna Jean) Myers and Jonathan (Angie) Myers, stepchildren, Lori Flaglor, Jodi Krupp, Robbi Smart, Jani McClenathan and Robert Todd McClenathan, grandchildren, Shane, Stacey and Katalina and great grandchild Chance. Don was preceded in death by his sons, Doug and Gerry Myers, brother Harold Myers and his first wife, Janet (Staup) Myers. A Memorial Service will be held December 21st, at 1:00 at Marion Salem United Methodist Church with Pastor Ric Harvel officiating.
