Donna Marie Miracle

Donna Marie (Snyder) Miracle, age 86, of Caledonia, passed from this life into eternity in heaven, on June 9, 2022. Donna was born on August 1, 1935 in Marion, Ohio to George and Alta Mae (Miley) Snyder. She grew up as a country tomboy and graduated from Mt Zion High School in Bucyrus, Ohio. She married the love of her life, Eugene “Gene” Miracle, and became a devoted wife and loving mother. Donna and Gene were married for 52 years before he passed away on July 20, 2005. Donna is survived by her son Eric “Rick” (Sandra “Sam”) Miracle of Caledonia; and daughters Connie (Wayne) Tillotson of Caledonia; and Lori (Brian) Reneker of Cleveland. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Angel (Jason) Lindsay; Nicole (Josh) Wade; Ben (Whitney) Smith; and Amber, Sarah, Jay, and Joshua Reneker, and 11 great grandchildren: Ashley; Decota; Tommy; Samantha; Maggie; Jennifer; Cartier; Nathan; Jakob; Grayson; and Noah, and many nieces and nephews she was very fond of. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: John, Ray, Richard, and Donald Snyder, Clara Snyder Orr, and Gladys Snyder Rinnert; and grandsons Aaron Eugene Miracle and James Michael Smith. Donna was a long time member of the Caledonia Church of Christ where she was a member of the Dorcas Circle. She was a dedicated servant of the Lord by volunteering for many church activities and duties including Vacation Bible School and serving many summers in the kitchen at Round Lake Christian Camp. Donna worked for many years as a cook at Caledonia Elementary and River Valley High School. She was also a founding member of the First Consolidated Fire Department Emergency Squad and volunteered for many years as an Emergency Medical Technician. Donna enjoyed baking, cooking, crafts, church activities, shopping with her great granddaughter Ashley, and whupping up on Ken Boswell in the game of Euchre. She also enjoyed watching Cleveland Baseball and Ohio State Football. She loved to watch the neighborhood children play and especially enjoyed handing out candy at Halloween. She loved her family, her church family, her community, and she was loved in return. She will be greatly missed on this earth. Friends may call June 21st at the Caledonia Church of Christ from 11:00 to 1:00. Service for Donna will be at 1:00 with David Braxton officiating, interment to follow at Caledonia Cemetery. There will be a fellowship luncheon at the church after the service, all are welcome.
