Doris M. Faulkner age 74 of Caledonia, Ohio passed away Tuesday afternoon February 11th, 2014 at home after an extended illness. Doris was born June 29th, 1939 in Lawrence County, Ohio as the daughter of the late Ansel & Mabel (Collins) Jenkins. She was a 1957 graduate of Ironton High School. She worked at Lawrence County and Galion Community Hospitals as a Nurses Aide. She retired from the Meijer's Store in Marion in 2004. At home Doris enjoyed sewing and crocheting when not busy with her children and grandchildren. Doris and her huband William, whom she married on November 17th, 1963 were members of the Lincoln Highway Car Club. William survives her at home. She is also survived by her four children, Mark A. (Gina ) Faulkner of Marion, Michael (Kim) Faulkner of Bucyrus, Sandy Jones and Debbie (Rick) Turner of Marion. There are seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She also leaves four brothers, Don Jenkins of Galion, Ron Jenkins of Van Buren, Dan & Jim Jenkins of Ironton and her sisters Dorothy Waugh of Quaker City, Cora Jenkins and Shelia Massie of Ironton. Doris was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services for Doris Faulkner will be conducted at 1:00 Friday February 14th at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Pastor Bryan Strothers officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday where the family will receive them between the hours of 5 - 8.
