Evelyn Irene Amrine age 87 of Marion, passed away Thursday evening September 27th, 2012 in Kobacker House in Worthington. Evelyn was born July 12, 1925 as the daughter of the late Lester M. and Mary (Bowman) Jewett. She was married to the late Richard N. Amrine on October 1st, 1945. Richard preceded her in death on March 7th, 2006,. She was a faithful member of Prospect Street United Methodist Church in Marion where she was a member of the women's circle, coordinator of funeral meals and many other duties. She was a Marion General Hospital volunteer and started the Lucky Ladies Euchre Club. Along with her activities, she was also a homemaker in the truest sense of the word. Evelyn is survived by her children Jeff & Brenda Amrine of Lewis Center, Robert & Penny Amrine of Cary NC, Richard Jr. & Carol Amrine of Marion, Marilyn & Bill Swartz of Marion, Jill & Ken Griffin of Marion. . There are twelve grandchildren, Angie (Christine Meyer) Amrine, Karen Amrine,Scott (Margo) Amrine, Bob (Amy) Amrine, , Mary (Rob) Eubanks, Emily (Kyle) Klaiber, Andy Swartz, Brian Amrine, Jessica Amrine, Grace Amrine, Evy and Keith Griffin. Fourteen Great Grandchildren: Madison Meachem, Kylie, Krissy, Alexis, Avery and Aleece Klaiber, Hailey and Logan Eubanks, Katie and Ellie Amrine, Chloe Griffin, Eva Amrine, Lauren and Cody Anderson . Evelyn also leaves behind her two sisters : Mary Kay (Floyd) Troyer and Clara Ordway; one brother: Harold (Naomi) Jewett along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Richard, Russell, Junior, Paul and sisters Della (Wilbur) Outhwaite and Martha Jewett. Funeral Services for Evelyn will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday October 1st, 2012 at the Prospect Street United Methodist Church in Marion with Pastor Nancy Goulet officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia on Sunday from 6:00 until 9:00. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Prospect Street United Methodist Church or the Kobacker House. .
