Evelyn Marie Makeever

Evelyn Marie Makeever age 76 of Edison, passed away Wednesday morning September 2, 2009 at her home. She was born in Marion, Ohio on November 26th, 1932 the daughter of the late George and Hazel (Dickess) Jenkins. On April 11th, 1954 she married the late Walter E Makeever in Marion. Evelyn worked at Tecumseh Products and Henney & Cooper Pharmacy. Canaan United Methodist was her church home where she was active in the Women's Fellowship and may committees. Her favorite activity was shopping with her special shopping buddy, Debbie. Evelyn is survived by her daughter Jean Ann and Rick Huffine. She is also survived by a brother, Kenyon and Cathy Jenkins of Caledonia and two sisters, Anne and Ed Wolf of Findlay and Luella Markert of Clearwater, Florida. The extended family includes grandchildren Troy and Bethany Makeever, Bridget and Aaron Tumbleson, Brandi and Joshua Maison, Kristin Huffine, and Marty and Gene Slain. The great grandchildren are Tori, Dalton, Jayda, Hailey, Cody, Carter, Kyle, and Lukas. The family is rounded out many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, two daughters, one brother, and three sisters. Calling hours for Evelyn Marie Makeever will be Friday September 4 from 4:00 - 8:00 at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia. The funeral will be held at the Canaan United Methodist Church Saturday, September 5th at 10:00 AM with Pator Matt Skelton officiating. Memorial contributions be made to Canaan UMC or Morrow County Hospice.
