Frederick Davie

Frederick Lee Davie, age 60 of Caledonia, passed away Saturday morning September 27 2008 at home following an extended illness. He was born December 24th, 1947 in Marion the son of the late William & Opal (Allinder) Davie. Fred was a graduate of Marion Harding High School, he had been employed as a foreman at J. G. Clark at one time. He was an avid bowler, having been a member of several leagues in Marion. Fred loved to work on his Harley Davidson and Norton Motorcycles and was a good auto mechanic. He was also noted as an excellent master carpenter and wood worker. Fred leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Anita . His three sons and their wives; Chris & Cristi Opp of New Lexington, Matthew & Lori Davie of Marion, Lee & Nicole Davie of Marion (currently stationed at Fort Meade, Maryland). He also leaves 10 grandchildren to cherish his memory. A memorial service will be held at a later time. No calling hours will be observed.
