Harvey Harris

Harvey Thomas Harris, age 79 of Marion passed away Thursday evening Feb 28th, 2013 in Marion Manor Nursing Home. He was born July 08th, 1933 in Cleveland, OH as the son of the late Thomas E. & Genevieve (McGuan) Harris. On May 31st 1952 he married the former Marilyn J. Swartz. She survives him at home. Harvey retired as a Transportation Supervisor with J. G. Clark and Field Container Corp. He was a member of the Caledonia Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a Past Master of Oliver Lodge F & AM , Past Worthy Patron of Vera Chapter #64 O.E.S. He had also been a member of the Aladdin Shrine, Valley of Columbus and the I.O.O.F. in Caledonia Besides Marilyn, Harvey is survived by his children, Randall E. (Tuesday) Harris of Cardington, Kathy S. (Kim) Mitchell of Caledonia, Gwendolyn J. (Carl) Baker of Newton, IL, Judy A. Powers of Kenton, Peggy J. (Tony) Balduf of Wharton, Wendall (Kim) Harris of Orient and Brandy (Sean) Pope of Lancaster. There are Ten Grandchildren and Eleven great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters, Carol Dodson, Jack Harris, Tommy Harris, Sandy Weatherbee and Johnny Harris. Harvey was preceded in death by one brother. Funeral Services for Harvey T. Harris will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday March 04th, 2013 at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Mabel Grimes officiating. Interment will follow in the Iberia Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 - 5 with Masonic Services being observed at 5:00.
