Helen "Lucy" Ann Bilger

Helen “Lucy” Ann Bilger, age 80, of Edison, Ohio passed away on January 14, 2022 at her residence. Helen was born in Caledonia, Ohio on February 20, 1941 as the daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy (Penrose) Shuster. Helen married Norman Bilger on May 25, 1965 and he survives her at home. Helen loved spending time with her family. She lit up like a “Christmas Tree” when any of her kids walked through the door. She also enjoyed crocheting, macramé and furniture refinishing and repair. She and her grandson, Garrett had a knack with plants and both had a “green thumb”. The love for houseplants is something that Garrett will cherish in memory of his Nanny. Helen will be missed by her children, Allen (Evelyn) Holt, Carl (Carol) Holt, Chris (Mark) Conkle and Sandy (Brian) Schaffer, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, sister, Jenny (Earl) Healea and her furkid Duby. Helen is preceded in death by her brother, Roy Shuster, sister Alice Jean Berry and grandson Tanner Holt. In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no public services observed. Interment will be in Caledonia Cemetery.
