Janet Rose Myers

Janet R. Myers, age 72 of Mt. Gilead, passed away Saturday morning July 17th, 2010 in Marion General Hospital. Janet was born June 18th, 1938 the daughter of Melvin & Edith (Paxton) Staup. She is survived by her two sons, Jonathan (Angela) Myers of Mt. Gilead and Randy (Jeanie) Myers of Stockton, CA. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Katalina Myers, Shane Smith and Stacie (Roger) Hanna. She is also survived by her great grandson Chance Smith. Three Sisters; Pat Clarkson of Marion, Mary Long of Mt. Gilead and Helen Rutledge of Cardington. She was preceded in death by two sons and two brothers. In keeping with the family's wishes the body will be cremated. Friends may call at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral home in Caledonia on Thursday evening where the family will receive them between 6:00 and 8:00. The urn will be interned in Caledonia Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
