John Dean "J.D." Junk age 44 of Caledonia died unexpectedly at Riverside Hospital Sunday, November 8th, 2015. He was born in Galion, August 5th,1971 as the son of Johnny Junk and Sharon (Blocksom), Johnny passed in August of this year. J.D. was employed with Graphics Packaging in Marion, Ohio and had been since he graduated high school. J.D. was a HUGE Steelers fan, enjoyed fishing, recreational shooting, gaming, mudding and rebuilding trucks. He liked to bowl and loved his dogs. J.D. held the weight lifting record in Mt. Gilead from high school until just recently. He is survived by his sister, Leah (Brian) Monk of Mt. Gilead, aunt, Pam Cline, his adopted family, Bobby, Robin and Austin Russell of Caledonia, Preston Elswick of Marion, and his furkids, Cindy and Bo. He also leaves behind many friends. He was preceded in death by his furkids, Pucker and Gunner. In keeping with J.D.'s wishes, there will be no service at this time. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
