Lloyd Hoffman

Lloyd Erwin Hoffman age 89 of Caledonia, died September 4th, 2018 at Presidential Center in Marion, Ohio. He was born March 6, 1929 in Morrow County as the son of the late Walter and Mary (Lehner) Hoffman Sr. Lloyd married the love of his life, Nancy Lavender on May 13, 1962. Lloyd was a lineman at Ashland Oil for many years and after retirement, worked for an additional 20 years as a security guard for Hidden Lakes. Lloyd loved family gatherings and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed camping at Hidden Lakes Campground in Mt. Gilead and gardening. Lloyd is survived by children, Vickie (Danny) Cochran, Paula Sparks, Helen (Rick) Conner, Mary Hoffman, Wayne (Sherry) Hoffman, Lisa (Dana) Slane, Gary Hoffman, Tracy (Jim) Haga, Jenny (Shane) Ocheltree, grandchildren, Candi, Amy, Richard, Shelby, Jonathan, Heather, Renee, Victoria, Kathleen, Ryan, Laurie, Shawna, Samantha, Steven, Nick and Jared, great grandchildren, Karli, Aryanna, Brayden, Deprecia, Tyra, Donjeon, Tobias, Haileigh, Peyton, Kyven, Hunter and Jakaiden, fifteen nieces and nephews and a brother Walter (Kathryn) Hoffman Jr. Lloyd was preceded in death by his son, Jimmie, daughter, Laurie, brothers, Paul, Merle, and Kenneth Hoffman, sisters Bernice Hart, Betty Vermillion and LaVilla Hoffman, son in law, Charlie Sparks and daughter in law, Kathy Hoffman. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 8th at 10:00 A.M. in the Timson & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home in Caledonia on Friday, September 7th from 6-8.
