Marilyn Ann Martin

Marilyn Ann Martin, age 74, passed away May 28, 2022 at the Birches at Trillium Woods in Plymouth, Minnesota after complications following a stroke the week prior.  She was born in Marion, Ohio on August 26, 1947 to Dale Franklin Martin and Elsie Kathryn Long Martin, and grew up on the family farm in Caledonia, Ohio.  Marilyn graduated in 1965 from River Valley High School, earned a bachelor’s degree at The Ohio State University, and went on to earn a doctorate degree in 1978.  She retired from her position as program manager at  Pearson Vue in 2015, and enjoyed travel, murder mysteries, and dogs.  She was a devoted aunt to her brother’s children, and her brother Mike was “the most important person in her life”. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; she is survived by her brother Michael Martin, sister-in-law Paige, her niece Mackenzie, nephew Casey, her Aunt Phyllis Martin Disbrow, and various cousins. Graveside service for Marilyn will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 11:00 AM in Caledonia Cemetery with Pastor Terry Burkhardt officiating.
