Marjorie M. Wilson of Caledonia passed away Saturday September 20th, 2014 at Marion Manor. She was born in Mansfield OH on September 12th, 1925, the daughter of the late Charles A. & Marian (Fox) McClure. Marjorie was a long time bookkeeper in the Marion area including Insta-Gro of Caledonia. In 1947 she married Donald E. Wilson Sr. He preceded her in death in 1997. Marjorie graduated from Mansfield Senior HS in 1943 where she was editor of the school paper and graduated with honors as the top academic female. She received her B.S. from OSU in Occupational Therapy. Always an avid reader, loyal OSU fan and longtime bowler, she passed the love of these activities on to her grandchildren. Marjorie is survived by her two sons, Donald E (Betty) Wilson Jr., of Roswell GA and Steven E. Wilson of Caledonia, her three daughters, Marilyn (Stephen) Matsick of Kimberling City, MO, Shirley Snyder of Caledonia and Susan Wilson of Westerville, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Larry A. Wilson. Memorial Services for Marjorie will take place on Saturday September 27, 1:30 pm at Memorial United Methodist Church of Caledonia with Pastor Corby Blanton officiating. Calling hours will be for 1 hour prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion Public Libraries or Memorial United Methodist Church of Caledonia. Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia is assisting the family with their needs. .
