Mary Katherine Kepford

Mary Katherine (Pfeifer) Kepford, age 83 of Galion, Ohio passed away October 25^th at her residence. Mary was born in Tiro, Ohio, December 20, 1938 as the daughter of the late Vernelle and Frieda (Rossman) Fetter. Mary married Robert Kepford in 1993 and he preceded her in death December 18^th, 2015. Mary was a 1956 graduate of Bucyrus High School and was a longtime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Galion. Mary retired in 2001 from MTD Products in Shelby, Ohio. She was also a member of the Golden Agers of Galion where she was an avid Euchre player. Mary loved going out to dinner and spending time with her family and friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved attending all of their school functions, ballgames and concerts. Mary will be greatly missed by her children, Reggie (Brenda) Pfeifer, Rex Pfeifer, Loueva Hollister and Peggie Long, stepchildren, Lori Kepford, Michelle Kepford, Glenna Pickett and Jenny Kepford, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and furkid Freddie. Mary was preceded in death by her sisters, Bertha Venninger and Pauline Newland. A Memorial Service for Mary will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Galion, November 7^th at 1:00. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s memory and with Freddie’s approval to the Rescued Rollers, P.O. Box 326 Galion, Ohio 44833.
