Mary Pappert

Mary Ellen Pappert, age 67, of Caledonia passed away January 28, 2021 peacefully at Marion General Hospital. Mary was born in Marion, Ohio on July 24th, 1953 as the daughter of the late Roy and Theresa (Hipsher) Paxton. Mary married Wayne Pappert November 8, 1978 and he survives her at home. Mary was a member of the Galion Moose Lodge #303 and bowled in multiple leagues at lanes around the area. Mary enjoyed bowling, gardening, being outdoors and feeding her birds. She traveled throughout the United States and had her feet in all of the Great Lakes. Mary loved playing cards, especially UNO and six handed Euchre. Mary will be missed by her children, Chris (Stephanie) Paxton, David (Cristin) Pappert, Bart Pappert, Teena Pappert, Teresa Roberts and Sabrina (Don) Miracle, grandchildren, Jessica Newsome, Andrea Miracle, Matt Pappert, Eric Pappert, Rachel Ferguson, Anthony Roberts, Lindsey Pappert, Brett Pappert, Noah Paxton, Sam Paxton, Callie Paxton, Elijah Weber, Dominic Weber, Zachary Pappert, Shayla Pappert, great grandchildren, Ohlivia Newsome, Sophia Newsome, Emilia Newsome, Bria Newsome, Aurora Boyd, Aislinn Pappert, Karson Roberts, Maci Touponce and Waylen Blackwell, brothers, R.D. (Sharon) Paxton and Doug (Denise) DeWalt and sister, Vicki Dutton. Mary is preceded in death by her sister Dixie. Friends may call from 6-8 on Monday, February 1st at the Timson & Melroy Funeral Home. Public Graveside service for Mary will be held Tuesday February 2nd, at 1:45 P.M. in Caledonia Cemetery with Preacher David Braxton officiating.
