Nancy Hoffman

Nancy Mabel Hoffman, age 80 of Caledonia, died December 21st, 2020 at Community Healthcare Center in Marion. Nancy was born August 23, 1940 in Delaware, Ohio, as the daughter of the late Wayne and June (Skaggs) Lavender. Nancy married the love of her life, Lloyd Hoffman, May 13th, 1962 and he preceded her in death September 4th, 2018. Nancy was a Nurses Aid for Woodside in Mt. Gilead, The Arbors at Delaware and several other nursing facilities in Florida. When Nancy wasn't chasing after 11 children, she enjoyed working in the garden, crocheting and macramé. Nancy loved reading, especially her V.C. Andrews novels. Nancy is survived by her children, Wayne (Sherry) Hoffman, Gary Hoffman, Tracy (Jim) Haga, Vickie (Danny) Cochran, Paula Sparks, Helen (Rick) Conner, Mary Hoffman, Lisa Slane and Jenny (Shane) Ocheltree, grandchildren, Candy, Amy, Ryan, Heather, Richard, Shelby, Jonathan, Renee, Victoria, Kathleen, Laurie, Shawna, Jared, Samantha, Steven and Nick, 15 great grandchildren and sisters, Deanna Carper, Mary Ward, Debbie Miller, Phyllis Hahm and Barb Lavender. Nancy is preceded in death by her son, James, daughter, Laurie, brothers, Marvin and Eddie and sister, Darlene. Graveside Services for Nancy will be held on December 28th, 2020 at 1:00 in Caledonia Cemetery with Chaplain Pam Lamb officiating.
