Nancy Whitt

Nancy (Chandler) Baldwin-Whitt, age 63 of Mount Gilead passed away Monday, December 1, 2015 at home with family by her side. She was born in Columbus on October 28, 1952 to the late Charles Burns Chandler and Josephine (Chandler) Chandler. She graduated from Highland High School in 1970 and worked as a homemaker and cook her entire life. Nancy enjoyed playing bingo, reading a good book and preaching about Jesus to her loved ones. Nancy was a loving mother to many individuals, a giving soul who would help anyone in need. She taught all of her children to never judge or hate, and she raised her children with dignity and integrity.Nancy is survived by her children: Gary (Angela) Baldwin of Mt. Vernon, Sonny Baldwin (Rochelle Hall) of Mt. Gilead, Julia (Christopher) Shoults of Haydenville; Step-children Frank Whitt, and Chey Whitt; 1 brother Leslie Chandler of Nevada and five grandchildren Cassady Doyle, Anna Baldwin, Christopher Jr., Jerrika, and Cameron Shoults. In addition to her parents. Nancy was widowed twice, first by Kenneth R. Baldwin, and again by Jack E. Whitt. She was preceded by her daughter Annie Jo and her brothers Randy and Gary Chandler and her sister Sally Hoffman. Graveside Services for Nancy will be held at 11:00 Monday December 7th at Trenton Cemetery, Condit Ohio. Calling Hours will be observed on Saturday December 5th from 3:00 until 5:00 at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia.
