Opal Marcum

Opal Ruth Marcum, age 56 of Caledonia away Thursday May 10th at home after an extensive battle with breast cancer. Opal was born on October 02nd, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida as the daughter of the late Arville Sr. & Opal (Ross) Robinette. On July 01st, 2000 she married Clayton D. Marcum and he survives her at home. Opal is also survived by her sons; Matthew Robinette & Benjamin Messmer and her daughters Andrea Buggs. Her granddaughters are Shannon Salyer, Alaina Messmer, Mikayla Messmer and Mariah Messmer. She leaves behind her brothers James & Arvil Jr. Robinette and her sisters Mary Robinette and Shirley Robinette Fawley. Memorial Services will be announced at a later time. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Stefanie Spielman cancer Research Center.
