Randy Smith

Randy Chris Smith left this earth unexpectedly on Saturday, October 1st, 2011. He was Born on October 17th, 1956 in Marion as the son of the late Raymond and Martha Smith. Randy leaves behind his former wife and long-time friend Marti Sexton, his son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Chrystal Orians, his granddaughters, Brooklyn and Willow Orians, his sister Debra Arms, his nephew Logan Combs, his brothers Bill and Jim Sexton, his sister Anita Sexton, nephews Billy and Jason Sexton, his nieces Sarah, Araby and Emily Sexton and two special cousins Walter Fiant and Nikki Blevins. Randy graduated from River Valley High School in 1975. He was a craftsman by trade, working his entire life with metals and wood. Randy was a talented, self-taught business-owner whose skills were very valuable to many individuals who came to him in need of automotive repairs. He also enjoyed the simple things of life; his family, cooking on the grill, bucket rides in the back-hoe and floating down the Olentangy River. He especially enjoyed having breakfast almost every morning with his granddaughter Brooklyn. He will be deeply missed by his many family and friends. Friends may call at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral home in Caledonia on Sunday October 9th where the family will receive them between 2:00 and 4:00. A memorial dinner will follow at the home of Jim Sexton in Claridon.
