Rilla Christman

Rilla A. Christman, age 83, passed away January 4th, 2017 at Kindred Nursing and Rehab in Marion, Ohio. She was born September 3, 1933 to the late Lester E. Rigdon and Allura May Dohm. She married Wilbert Christman October 17, 1954 and he precedes her. Rilla loved knitting, especially afghans, watching birds, spending time with her family and her dogs. She was a self-employed dog groomer for years. Rilla is survived by her son Franklin (Amy) Christman and her sister Nona Thomas. She also leaves behind her 3 grandchildren, Crystal and Ray Deusenberry and April Lambright, two great grandchildren, Nevaeh Deusenberry and Zoey Lambright. Rilla is preceded in death by her daughter Alluramay Deusenberry (1956-2013), sisters, Grace Estella Cluff (1921-1993), Arlene Clarabell Rios (1923-1985), Geneva May Price (1925-1992), Blossom Ianna Rigdon (1928-1929) and Zella Adeline Gallegos (1929-1966), brothers, Lester Earl Rigdon (1927-2011) and Hubert N. Rigdon (1931-2013). Friends may call at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia, January 10, 2017 from 11:00 to 1:00. Graveside service will be held at the Caledonia Cemetery following visitation.
