Rodney A. Baldinger age 73 of Morral - Kirkpatrick Rd. Caledonia, Passed away Friday afternoon May 18, Heartland of Bucyrus after an extended illness. Rodney was born in Martel on March 7th, 1934 the son of the late G. Richard and Ada Price Baldinger. On June 11th 1955 he married his childhood sweetheart Mamie Dunn and she survives him at home. Rodney was a 1952 graduate of Martel High School, he attended Martel United Methodist Church, was a member of the Marion County Fair Board for over twenty years and on the Marion Co. ASC Committee. But above all else Rodney was a farmer. He loved to eat out and enjoyed Antique Tractor and Steam Shows and loved a good farm auction. His family was his life. Rodney is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Jerry & Kristy Baldinger of Caledonia and his daughter and son - in - law Karen & Jeffrey Heffley also of Caledonia. His grandchildren; Gary Baldinger & his fiancee Reva Hughes, Jill & Jerrid Schultz, John Heffley, Samuel & Melissa Heffley, Jenny & Ryan Kitts. Rodney leaves behind his brother and sister - in - law Richard and Pat Baldinger of Marion and their two sons Rick & Roger. He will also be missed by his brothers -in-law; Paul & Joan Dunn and Robert & Lucille Dunn of Bucyrus and Donald & Betty Dunn of Sycamore.

Funeral Services for Rodney will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday May 21st, 2007 in the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia will Pastor Joe Platt officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia on Sunday between the hours of 2 - 4 and 6 - 8.
