Sandra was born on August 5, 1946, in Marion, Ohio, as the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth (Richards) Rasey. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, whose legacy of love and kindness will echo through the lives of all who knew her. A proud graduate of the River Valley Class of 1964, Sandra cherished her upbringing and the community that nurtured her. Sandra married Bernard "Bernie" Brown March 14th, 1975 and he preceded her in death January 8th, 2021. Sandra dedicated 13 years of her life to serving as a cashier at Kroger, where she became known for her warm smile and friendly demeanor. She touched the hearts of countless customers and colleagues, exemplifying the essence of genuine kindness in her everyday interactions. Her commitment to excellence and grace in all that she did was truly admirable.

Sandra held strong to her roots and values throughout her life, and her faith was a cornerstone that guided her every step. She was a proud member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Marion. Sandra found joy in reading her Bible and immersed herself in Amish fiction novels, which often inspired her perspective on life and family.

She was known for her incredible baking skills, particularly her famous Snickerdoodles, which brought smiles to the faces of friends and family alike. Every Wednesday, she delighted in playing Yahtzee with her granddaughter, Morgan, creating memories that will linger in the hearts of her family forever. Sandra also enjoyed playing cards with her friends at Seton Square, where camaraderie brought joy to her life.

In her departure, Sandra leaves behind her loving family, including her children;  Stephanie (Jason) Stith, Christopher (Amanda) Skinner, Darren (Heather) Brown, and Kimberly (Eric) Parcells.
