CALEDONIA - Shirley M. Vaughn, age 71 of Caledonia, Ohio passed away Wednesday afternoon April 25th 2007 in Riverside Hospital, Columbus. She was born July 10th, 1935 in Galion, Ohio the daughter of Harry & Sarah (Reed) Smith. On December 13th 1952 she married Wallace Dean Vaughn. He preceded her in death on June 21st, 1996. Shirley was a member of the Caledonia Church of Christ, she enjoyed doing jig-saw puzzles and working in her yard. She loved to eat out and was always looking for opportunities to spend time with her kids and grandkids. Shirley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David & Susan Vaughn of Caledonia and her two daughters and their husbands; Debra & Terry Kightlinger of Caledonia and Vickie & Douglas Clements of Kenton. Seven Grandchildren and Twelve Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Beverly Downing of Findlay and her special companion, her dog Ugie.
Funeral Services for Shirley will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday April 28th, 2007 in the Caledonia Church of Christ with Kenneth Boswell officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia on Friday between the hours 6 - 9. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Caledonia Church of Christ .
