Terrance "Terry" Richard Dutt

Terrance "Terry" Richard Dutt, age 70, passed away peacefully at his residence November 10, 2024. Terry was born in Marion, Ohio as the son of Richard and Betty (Gmelch) Dutt. A proud 1972 graduate of River Valley High School. Terry will be remembered for his dedication as a CNC Machinist with Hildreth Manufacturing, where he contributed his skills and craftsmanship for many years. He married his companion and best friend of many years, Paula Martin November 3rd, 2024 and she survives him at home.

Terry embraced life with a spirited enthusiasm that reflected his love for the outdoors. He found joy in gardening, where he grew his prized tomatoes, riding his motorcycle, and spending time on his boat. Terry had a special bond with his beloved dog, Gypsy, and cherished moments gathered around the backyard campfire, enjoying BBQs and cooking for family and friends. He loved to cook and entertain at home. Camping at Cross Creek in Delaware with Paula was another adventure he held dear in his heart.

Terry is survived by his mother, Betty Dutt, step-sons, James Verrocchio and Damon Duhamell, numerous cousins, as well as his furkids, Gypsy and Tina. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard and sister, Diana Dutt in 2023, whose memory he carried with him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on November 21, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Timson & Melroy Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Amy Barr officiating. Terry will be laid to rest during a graveside service on November 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM in Waldo Cemetery. 

As we reflect on Terry's life, we honor the memories created and the love shared with those he leaves behind. His spirit will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
