Thomas Grover Bryant

Thomas Grover Bryant age 86 of Marblehead, Ohio, formerly of Caledonia, passed away January 27th, 2023 at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Thomas was born in Marion, Ohio, September 2nd, 1936 as the son of the late Tobe and Lucille (Gornflo) Bryant. Thomas married Clara Alkire/O’Hearn May 5, 1956 in Caledonia, Ohio and she preceded him in death December 31st, 2022.  Thomas was a 1955 graduate of  Caledonia High School.  Thomas and Clara enjoyed their home at Marblehead where they had resided for the last 25 years.  Thomas loved going fishing and hunting. He would hunt just about anything, but really enjoyed raccoon hunting. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA. He loved being outdoors. Thomas enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by his children, Jeff (Connie) Bryant and Tracy (Ron) Wolfe, grandchildren, Adam, Aaron and Michelle and great grandchildren Nathan, Kelsey, Brayden, Jeffery, Jordan, brother, Gary Bryant and sister-in-law Opal Carsner. Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Bryant and sister, Patricia Cain. Friends may call from 12:00-1:00 on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023 at the Timson & Melroy Funeral Home. Service will begin at 1:00 with Pastor Brett Gleespen officiating. Interment will be in Caledonia Cemetery. The family requests NO flowers, please send a contribution to a local animal shelter of your choosing. The Timson & Melroy Funeral Home are handling his arrangements.
