Thomas Ettinger

Thomas L. Ettinger, age 75 of Martel passed away Monday evening May 21st 2012 in Galion Community Hospital after an extended illness. He was born January 5th, 1937 in Galion as the son the late Robert T. & Ganelle (Goldsmith) Ettinger. Tom was a 1954 graduate of Martel High School and a U. S. Army veteran having served in Germany as an M.P. He was employed for many years at Marion Power Shovel. Tom's memory will be cherished by his sister Pansy Blankenship of Martel, His nieces, Lorie Moore & Heather Blankenship, nephew Raymond Blankenship, grand nieces, Amanda Lane & Shawna Moore and great great niece & Nephew Amirrah Moore & Christopher Sayler. Funeral Services for Tom will be held Friday afternoon May 25th, 2012 at 2:00 in the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Pastor Yvonne Hechler officiating. Internment will follow in Iberia Cemetery with military honor provided by the Morrow County Veterans and the U.S. Army. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday where the family will receive the from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Martel United Methodist Church.
