Thomas Reed

Thomas A. Reed age 56 of 4165 Caledonia - Climax Rd. Apt. 6 Caledonia, passed Wednesday morning December 13th, 2006 at home after an extensive battle with cancer. Tom was born September 30th, 1950 in Marion. He was the son of the late Joseph W. and Betty Jane (Timson) Reed. On June 5th, 1970 he married Joann Jolliff She survives him at home. Tom was a 1968 graduate of River Valley High School and served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He was employed for most of his adult life as a painter at HPM in Mt. Gilead. In his spare time he loved to play golf. He also enjoyed sharing his love of music by acting as a "DJ" at local weddings and parties He was a dedicated member of Caledonia American Legion Post 401 and Mt. Gilead AmVets Post 87 .
Besides his wife Tom is survived by his sons Jonathan & Thomas Reed of Marion and his daughter Yvonne Snow also of Marion. Seven Grandchildren also survive him along with his five brothers; Lanny Reed of Oklahoma, Willard Reed of New Jersey, Michael Reed of Arizona, Herbert Reed of Caledonia and Stephen Reed of Florida. His sister Brenda Agnes of Arizona also survives him.
