Treva Lust

Treva Marie Lust, age 80 of Martel, went to be with her Lord and her Heavenly family on Tuesday morning September 20th, 2011 at the Carlisle House in Bucyrus. Treva was born in Hardin County as the daughter of Ray E. & Lorrean (Hiller) Hassen on November 13th, 1930. On January 15th, 1948 she married Franklin A. Lust. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9th 2005 after a long and happy marriage. Treva worked as a cook and waitress at numerous places in the Marion area including "Short & Dee's" in Caledonia and the Isaly Shop on Mt. Vernon Ave in Marion. She was a devoted member of the Martel United Methodist where she happily assisted in the Food Pantry, Garage Sales and anywhere else they needed her help. But above all else, Treva loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and would go to great lengths to be sure she kept them in her homemade fudge and everything else that grandma could think of. Treva leaves behind her two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis & Leah Lust of Wooster and Richard & Sandy Lust of Marion. She will also be remembered by her son-in-law Philip Reppart, husband of her late daughter Nelda.. Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren, Stacy & Robert Davis, Whitney & Jason Long, Michelle & Josh Wyckoff, David Lust, Katie Lust, Elizabeth Lust, Erica Lust, April & Andy Horne, Tyler Lust, Sierra Lust & Alden Lust. Her great grandchildren are Jacob & Jackson Davis, Kayla & Katelyn Long and Collin Horne. She will be fondly missed by her brother & sister - in - law Donovan & Carol Hassen of Kenton and her long-time friends Frances & Everett Douce of Martel. Funeral Services for Treva will be on Thursday September 22nd, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Pastor Yvonne Hechler officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will receive them on Wednesday from 6 - 9. Memorial contributions may be made to the Martel United Methodist Church or the Home Care Matters of Galion.
