Virgil Peterman

Virgil N. "Bud" Peterman, age 76 of Caledonia, passed away Saturday evening July 9th, 2011 in Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Bud was born July 18, 1934 in LaRue, Ohio the son of the late Guy and Myrtle (Dutton) Peterman. He is a U. S. Army veteran and a former employee of Tecumseh Products in Marion. He was a former member of the Cardington American Legion and enjoyed fishing and was a collector of many different objects. On August 2, 1959 he married the former Mary Jo Garber and she survives him at home. He is also survived by his son Richard (Noreen) Peterman of Caledonia and his daughter Beth Albright of Columbus. Four grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his brother Richard Peterman of Marion. Funeral services for Bud will be held on Thursday July 14th at 1:00 P.M. in the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Rev. Jared Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery with military honors being provided by the Marion County Veteran's Council. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 - 9 on Wednesday evening.
