Wilson Armbruster

Wilson L. Armbruster age 83, a long-time Caledonia resident passed away Monday morning May 30th 2016 at Kindred HealthCare of Marion. Wilson was born January 30th, 1933 in Marion as the son of the late LeRoy and Miriam (Larick) Armbruster. He graduated from Caledonia High School in 1950 where he played on the State Basketball Championship Team. After graduation he served four years in the United States Navy in the South Pacific and Mediterranean. He was than employed as a draftsman at the Marion Engineer Depot and also worked as a fry-cook in the L & R Restaurant in Caledonia. Wilson was a die-hard Indians fan and loved OSU Basketball. Wilson is survived by his six nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Harry and sister Mary Lou Murphy. A time of sharing memories of the life of Wilson Armbruster will be held Monday evening June 6th, 2016 at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia.
