Mark A. Melroy is a native of Seneca County, having been raised at Bloomville and a graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. After completing a tour of duty with the U.S. Army he attended the Ohio State University Marion Campus and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with his Bachelor's Degree in 1981. Mark is also a member of the Ohio Funeral Director’s Association and the Ohio Embalmer’s Association.
His past-times have included being involved with the local Boy Scout Troop as scoutmaster. Mark holds the Rank of Eagle Scout and is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association. He also holds the Scouter's Key, Scouter's Training Award, Scoutmaster's Award of Merit and the God & Service Award from the United Methodist Church and the Commission for Church and Youth Agency Relations. Mark lead his troop on numerous canoe trips in Canada and was expedition leader for two trips to Philmont National Scout Ranch in Cimmaron New Mexico.
Mark is an active member of Oliver Lodge No. 447 F & AM as Lodge Education Officer. He also holds memberships in the Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Columbus, the Royal Order of Scotland and the Aladdin Temple Shrine of Columbus where he serves as pipemajor of the Aladdin Shrine Pipes & Drums. He has gained a reputation playing the Highland Bagpipes for other funeral homes in the area. Mark became the recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Citation in 2012 for his work with the Marion County Historical Society. He is the owner of a 1924 Model T "Tudor" and is a member of the Model T Club of America. In their free time Mark and Nichole enjoy spending time at the lake and attending Scottish/Highland Games.
Mark lost his only son Stephen at the age of 23 in a traffic accident on June 8, 2010.

Nichole Melroy (Bond) is a native of Crawford County, Ohio, born and raised in Galion. She is a graduate of Galion Senior High School class of 1992. Nichole attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor's Degree in 2004. She also received the Dr. A. J. Nunnamaker Award which is presented to recognize the individual with the highest class standing among those who completed all 75 quarter hours at CCMS as well as a National Dean's List Biography Award.
Nichole began her career in 1996 as support staff/pet cremation at Schoedinger State Street in Columbus. She came on board at Timson & Melroy Funeral Home in May of 2014. Nichole was the first licensed female embalmer in Marion County. She has also been instrumental in the organizing and management of Cherished Friends Pet Cremation and Memorial Services which is a branch of the funeral home. Nichole is also a member of the Ohio Funeral Director’s Association and the Ohio Embalmer’s Association.
Her love for animals includes working in the animal welfare, adoption, rescue and education programs. She enjoys being outdoors and attending antique rod shows and swap meets. She is also the proud owner of a 1951 two door Ford Sedan, "shoebox" and enjoys attending antique car shows. Nichole is also an associate member snare drummer in the Aladdin Pipes & Drums of Columbus. In their free time Mark and Nichole enjoy spending time at the lake and attending Scottish/Highland Games.

Roger graduated from Mount Gilead High School in 1998. During his high school years, he also completed the Criminal Justice program at Tri-Rivers Career Center. This early education set the foundation for his future career in public safety.
After finishing high school, Roger began a long and dedicated career in public safety. For 25 years, he served his community in various roles such as Law enforcement officer, Paramedic, and Firefighter. During this time, Roger continued his education and in 2013 he graduated from Franklin University with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Safety Management.
Shortly after obtaining his bachelor's degree, Roger decided to change his career path and chose to enter the funeral service industry and pursued further education to support this goal. In 2015, Roger graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science with a Mortuary Science degree. Following his graduation, he completed his apprenticeship under Snyder Funeral Homes in Marion, Ohio. This training allowed him to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
In 2018, Roger took a significant step in his career by starting his own business. He founded Mid-State Mortuary Support, a company that provides support services to funeral homes and coroner's offices in Central Ohio.
Roger is active in his community and industry beyond his primary business. His additional roles include Volunteer at the Ohio Railway Museum in Worthington, Board member and treasurer of the Ohio Railway Museum, Vice President of Client Relations for Springfield Vault Company, member of Ohio Funeral Director’s Association, member of Ohio Embalmer’s Association, and had coached youth softball and baseball.
Roger lives in Edison and has two adult children, Damien and Mikayla. Both of his children work for Mid-State Mortuary Support, continuing the family's involvement in the funeral service industry.
In his free time, Roger enjoys several hobbies and activities traveling, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. Roger looks after the funeral home and takes care of our families when Mark and Nichole need to be away.
Kevin Landes is a native of Marion County and a 1988 graduate of River Valley High School. Kevin has lived in Marion and Morrow counties all his life. Kevin married Kathy (Knisley) in 1992 and they reside in Caledonia. Kevin is an active member of Oliver Lodge No. 447 F & AM since 1989. He and Kathy are both a part of Landes Produce, a family owned and operated farm market off 309 in Caledonia. Kevin also transports and works with the Amish Community and is a handyman and character at Phobia Haunted Woods in the fall.
Kevin began his time with Timson and Melroy Funeral Home in August of 2021, shortly after the passing of his father, Donald “Porky” Landes. Kevin assists with calling hours, services and removals for the funeral home. He is a valuable asset to the home.
Dodi Mawer (Thomas) is a native of Marion County, Ohio and where she still resides. She is a 1984 graduate of Marion Harding High School and Tri-Rivers
Career Center.
She married Joe Mawer in 1998 and they share five children and five grandchildren together. Dodi is also an Administrative Assistant at Marion Cemetery Association and a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church where she sings in the choir. Dodi is active with the Marion Historical Center and enjoys working in genealogy and cemetery history.
Dodi joined Timson & Melroy Funeral Home in 2023 and assists with calling hours and services when needed.
